Resolute Commercial Services, an Arizona-based receivership/business consulting firm, has been appointed receiver of the Butterfield Plaza, a 91,713-square-foot retail center in Benson, Ariz., located on the southeast corner of 4th Street and Cholla Avenue.
“Upon appointment, we found the center in average condition and are currently working on structural and accounting issues as well overall property condition improvement,” said John Mitchell, co-principal of Resolute Commercial Services.
Specifically, the firm is working on major construction defect issues such as the deterioration of the foundation; underlying settlement issues; and the repair of the overall condition of the property while addressing tenant concerns and ensuring all businesses within the center remain operational.
Resolute Commercial Services was founded in 2008 by Jeremiah Foster and John Mitchell. In 2011, the firm expanded into California and Nevada. Other recent Arizona appointments include the Cotton Lane Shops in Surprise, Gold Canyon Village in Gold Canyon, an urgent care medical project in Glendale and Zevoncshi Enterprises in Mesa, among others.
Through the combination of skills and years of experience that each principal brings to the table, Resolute Commercial Services is a company where business acumen honed through experience is offered to a variety of clients involved in complicated real estate transactions.
