Since founding Resolute in 2008 in what was perceived to be a counterintuitive decision during a booming market, Jeremiah (Jerry) Foster has led corporate strategy for the firm. His day-to-day functions as President include overseeing the business, leading the firm’s team of industry experts, and advising creditors, equity holders and enterprises as they navigate the many phases of a turnaround, restructure or crisis management plan.
Jerry is best described as a serial entrepreneur who finds success by providing vision and leadership to voids he sees in the market. He is driven by the thrill of creating successful ventures. This drive has led him to be a major contributor to growing a startup company from single digit employees to a $100MM NASDAQ IPO (IGOI). He also built his own company that was eventually sold. Jerry’s career has included stints in technology, manufacturing, commercial real estate, and commercial loan workouts. Adept at creating relationship-based sales and marketing strategies with a keen sense of business, Jerry continues to create exceptional results with each new business venture.
To date, Jerry has been appointed as a Chief Revenue Officer, Interim Chief Executive Officer, Trustee, Receiver, Special Master, or Liquidating Trustee for more than 100 ventures, and has personally been involved in the sale of more than $600MM of going concern and real estate transactions.
He is dedicated to community service as a current Board Member for Special Olympics of Arizona and Emeritus Board Member of Junior Achievement of Arizona. Previous board tenures include Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) of Arizona, Scottsdale Public Art and the Arizona Town Hall. Jerry is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Turnaround Management Association and Association for Corporate Growth.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Arizona.
